My home - Cornet Bay

I am very lucky to live here in the paradise that is Whidbey Island.  This picture was taken just "up the road" during one of our morning walks with the dogs. Both as an artist and a human being, the island I live on is a constant source of inspiration.  Everywhere I look nature is abundant with her gifts of awesome beauty with  each season bringing a different kind of miracle .  I feel truly blessed each day just to be here.

I share my home with a menagerie of animals - 2 Australian cattle dogs, a cat, 2 goldfish and an ever-changing variety of wild critters.  They are all featured in many of my paintings. My love for animals has been a big part of who I am for as long as I can remember.  I am a proud juried member of two ebay groups that give part of our proceeds to help animal charities -  Art For Critters and  Artists United for Animal Rescue.
